I thought I'd start I'd start a squier picture thread. Might be interesting as people are more likely to modify their squiers.
Here is mine, a 2000 Affinity Telecaster. Original Red finish was chipped off with a putty knife. Bridge Pickup is a GFS vintage alnico whatever. Neck Pickup is a "vintage" 1978 Bronco Pickup (even though it's not in the picture). Brass nut, new tuners, black pickguard, 70s pots, etc.

Found a picture of my Affinity 20th Anniversary Butterscotch Blonde Strat. Sweet guitar. I added a fender 5-way switch and pots and a 9 dollar MF pick guard. I believe I'm going to put in a set of Fender noiseless pickups to complete it. Presently, the stock pickups are wrapped in copper foil and I play tuned to E flat.

Guys have told me that the 2002 Anniversary Squiers are the best years of Squier guitars, Your Strat sounds good, does it sound and play good ? :?: 8)

Both strats are shielded as in the pictures. Both have an on/off switch so you can use the bridge and neck pick-up together. The gold strat has Fender 5-way switch, pots, and cap with the hottest wound GFS pickups I could find.
Keep that 2002 Squier , they made GOOD guitars that year

The blue StageMaster is stock and stays in tune no matter how hard I crank the Floyd. I keep thinking I'm I going to upgrade the pups, then I play it and find myself asking why I would want to do that.

Not pictured, I have a 20th Anniversary butterscotch blonde affinity strat that have added Fender 250 pots and 5-way switch. The pickups are stock with the exception that I have completely wrapped the pickups with copper foil. Love my Squier Guitars.

I've replaced the control knobs to match the color of the pickup covers.

1999 Standard Double Fat Stratocaster ...

Dead stock and as clean as if it came out of the box. Sadly, I just can't bond with the red.

It's FS/FT if anyone is interetsed ..... :)

First guitar I ever bought. 1989 Korean Squier. Great sounding guitar. I've had people offer to trade me much more expensive Fender Strats for it. No way. I'll never let this one go, too many memories. Played this guitar exclusively in my first 3 bands. Frets are kinda worn, but it still plays great.
