My latest Squier....X-155.

Where did you find a Squire Hollowbody? It has to be a fake or am i missing something on the Squire site? I'd really like to have one of those if it sounds half as good as it looks it would be sweet.

Not a Fake. They actually made these in 2002 I think for a short time. They have one on ebay in black w/ flames. The blackw/ flames was called a "white heat", the blue with flames was called "blue heat" and were made in fewer numbers than the white heat or the other X-155's. The bodies were leftovers from when Dearmond was bought out by Fender.
If a guitar is discontiued they pull it off the site, but if you email Jeff Krause w/ customer relations he will send you the specs. He's a great guy to do so , I've bugged him several times before for my Squier VII (which is in the picture to it's lefthand side, I am still working on it), and Super Sonic Vista. You can also check out Harmony Central. And it sounds AWESOME!!! I wish they still made them.

thatis a beautiful squier

Thanks , ..........McogarWelcome to the forums!!!!!

See Squire could do alot for itself by turning out discontinued models from Fender. I would be a bigger fan if they did.

Man, feel a bit envious and self conscious now posting my new guitar. LOL

My first Squier ever. I got rid of the strap it came with for the Badtz-Maru one and got a cushion strap. It was part of a 99 dollar set I got over labor day weekend. It came with the 'baby' amp (that's what I call it LOL), picks, strap, tuner, gig bag, a free set of strings (offer for labor day), stand, and two tools.

Sorry it's a bit blurry. I did it on my hd vid camera but it doesn't have image stability. LOL

Nice Srat LVAngel!!
I think the tortoise shell and sunburst combo is sweet! How does it soud?No need feel self concious. If you like the way it plays and are comfortable with it, than is the best guitar.

I think it sounds alright. (dont' have anything to compare it to since it's my first electric guitar) The low E keeps buzzing, so I'm going to take it in to swap out the strings and get it adjusted. Other than that, i love it. It's alot heavier than my classical Yamaha guitar so had to get that padded strap for comfort.

I love the color on it. They had a black, white and the sunburst. During the sale, I got the last sunburst. :D

i just received my 1994 MIM this morning. it's road-worn, but i'm liking the neck and the way it sounds so far. i already ordered some new knobs. still need to order a trem and a 5-way switch as this one is scratchy. here's some pics (from the ebay seller):

Thanks quackhappy. I love the color of it. It came with a set (sp-10 amp, strap, pics, stand, tuner, a free set of strings, cord, gig bag) for $99 at Labor Day. I think I literally got the last one in this color online. It paid to hold out because I was staring at this set for about a year.

Funny, I just got a coffin case--a white one I'm going to decorate. And now, I got an extra 8-9 dollars off because musician's friend said they'd match a lower price from Guitar Center. Whoo-hoooo!
