I need help finding the right hex key for the brass saddles of my new CV 50's Tele. I tried a 1.5mm, too small.......2mm too big. Also tryed 1/16th too small......5/64th too big. I guess it must be a 1.75mm but where would I find one. Am I the only one who has this problem?

Really nice guitar for the money by the way! MIM's look out.

Thanks for your help.

Try Sears or your local hardware store. (take the guitar with you)

I usually find one that fits from my multitool. If all else fails go to your local music store.

Good luck and don't forget to loosen the strings before adjusting the saddle so you don't strip the allen wrench bolt.

I bet it's a metric size, since it's a squier. Good luck and try to find the correct size so you don't booger it up. Been there done that. Didn't like it.

Thanks, I went down to the local Guitar Hospital and asked. He had a large box of misc. allen wrenches. Went through about 40 - 50. Finally found one that measured about 1.72mm that worked. I guess they do exist but. are hard to find.

The one that squier supplied was 1.5mm and did not work. Be advised : )

Thanks for all the help.
