Post subject: Need help identyfying Squier LP

Hey guys, a friend of mine just got this Squier LP by some luck of he's. But we are wondering where was it made and in what year. And of course any info about it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Those are links to pics of it, the S/N is KC 03093481.

As i said, this is PRETTY WIERD for us, first time i had seen it and i would love any info about it.

Ah, what your buddy was lucky enough to get there was a Squier M70 guitar. Those axes were released for a short time after the DeArmond guitars disappeared.

The M70 is basically the same guitar as the DeArmond M70 model minus the Goldtone pickups.

The serial number there indicates that it was probably made in Korea by Cort around September 2003.

That's a damn good guitar. If your buddy ever tires of it, I'll take it!
