I'm looking to find what year of strat I have seen. It's a Squire standard in a buttercream color with a maple fretboard. The Squire stratocaster logo is not the large 70's that is on the standards now, it's the 60's one i believe. The guy has done some mods to the pick ups. I don't have the SN# Here is a pic.Image

It looks Mexican. There have been a lot of releases like that. Check Wikipedia.

Considering he routed it out for a humbucker the body could be aftermarket. Probably the only thing that is Squier is the neck. He might have ripped it off another guitar.

It's from the late 60s. A JapStrat would be more elliptically shaped. :) [/img]
