Hey guys, newbie here. Quick question. Has anyone purchaced a classic vibe series guitar and snapped any pics yet? I would really like to see some, I'm really wanting either the 50's or 60's Strat guitars. Thanks!

I have a CV60s that is at: http://s30.photobucket.com/albums/c346/ ... e/guitars/

That's all of mine. other thant he sunburst is way better in reality than on Squier's site, not much to see. Some of the other forums out there have better pics of some modded CVs.

I bought the 60s because I wanted a rosewood strat. My clone is nice enough and it has maple. I have both and each has different tone.

Can't go wrong with wither one.

Randy

Hey, Thanks 66musicmaster!!!! Awesome pics. It really does look better than on their website. I am leaning towards the 60's CV. By the way how does it play?

Plays great! I think I am going to have a pro setup done to see if I can get the action a bit lower. More like my clone. But it sounds great, plugged or unplugged. I love the big frets.

Gotta get ya one.

Bought myself one a couple of months ago and it really is the best deal out there.

When I bought it, I wanted something that looked and played as closely as possible to the John Mayer Signature strat and let me tell you this thing is pretty damn close. I actually played both guitars for about an hour each and although the neck felt slightly better on the JM strat with the 6105 Frets and the satin neck, the vibe was the right choice. You could always de-gloss the neck and the frets are actually really nice on the vibe They look almost identical and the sound were actually really close. I think it is the greatest deal out there and would consider getting the vibe 50s and even the tele versions. I did a lot of research and just found that the vibe was the greatest deal for what I was looking for. Do yourself a favor, go to the music store, bring a friend to pass you some guitars and just close your eyes and play. I defy you to not choose the vibe over the mim strats or even some US srats.

BEST DEAL PERIOD.
