Post subject: Upgrading Pots and Switches in a Jagmaster HELP !!

i have a squier jagmaster, i like the stock pickups but the volume and tone pots are a bit weak ... any boby have any ideas for pots that would fit and offer basic but quality control ... also i would like to change out the pick up switch ... not looking to spend a fortune on it but i would like quality parts ... any ideas ... thanks

StewMac has good parts. Get some decent 500k pots, CTS is the brand everybody recommends, though Alphas are not bad either, its just that CTS are the current fave among modders. Switches, any Les Paul style switch should probably work, just make sure the clearance is right. Does this swapping have anything to do with your Jagmaster hum post? If it does, see what I mention there cause even if you swapped out all these items, if there is an issue with the guitars grounding (I know others have suggested amps and things like that), then changing all these parts most likely will not have an effect on that issue as they are (seemingly, without seeing your guitar) separate issues...
