I got my Classic Vibe 60s yesterday. Beautiful. Nicely built. IF you are considering one of these vs an MIM, BUY THIS ONE! My opinion of course, but the pics on the Squier site don't do it justice.

And here's it with our others. The Ibanez bass is my 8 y/o son's. He asked for money for his birthday and picked and bought it himself.

Sounds like a strat to me. I know there are plenty of folks that will say it's junk and sounds like crap and all those other things, but I love it so far. Sounds right. No veneer on the body. Three pieces of wood in the body.

The bridge pup didn't work initially, but I removed PG to check wires and found nothing loose. Put it back and it's working. We'll see....

The frets are taller than I am used to. But I think that is more a factor of how much my old guitars have been played.

Awesome guitars, I love natural finishes. I'm glad you were able to save them. They are well worth the trouble of repairing.

I wish my local store of choice would stock these. But they don't. Does it have a decent neck? Modern C shape right?

Thanks Mustangtoo. Although I am seriously considering refinishing the MM2 back to an original white. I'm not as big a fan of naturals. And maybe a honeyburst on the clone strat. I do like the wood on it. But a burst on the outside would allow me to repair some of the dings. And it's not like I'll be diminishing it's value, since it's a clone anyway.

And vwralph, it is a decent neck, of the modern C shape, according to the spec sheet. I'm not real versed in the differences in neck shapes. It plays great though.

Thanks
Randy

Thanks. I haven't played the others much since the CV came in. My son has kept them warm though.
