I agree, this thread should have been killed a long time ago. But this guitar is a custom shop and if you look closely has lipstick pickups and all kinds of custom work. Even the fredboard is engraved. So I don't think anyone in their right mind would break this one.

I'm against any kind of display of violence. I think that is stupid and only shows an insecure person who doesn't believe in his self worth or respecting others. We have enough of that in this world. Lets keep all references to assault away from this forum. So that kids can enjoy the site as well.

I know you were joking Darkly Dreaming.

I looked one up online just to see what the fuss was about. They didn't look THAT bad. I wouldn't play one but my 5 year old saw the picture and she wanted one. Isn't that kind of the idea behind it? I'd draw Yoda on my son's guitar if it would make him practice more. We could call it - the Yodacaster!!!

That is the exact idea behind it. I'd rock a Yoda guitar too.

the OP of this thread is nothing but a rich arrogant thug.

Think of all the kids who would love one of thses guitars but cant afford one? The schools that could make use of this guitar to teach many kids?

So you think its horribe or not cool? If you were walking down the street with a sandwich that you didnt like, and you saw some starving kid, are you they type to simply throw the sandwich on the ground and step on it rather than give it to the kid?

Im betting you are? Laughing and thinking your cool for breaking a decent guitar..man, you make me sick. overprivileged kids who have no idea what its like to really want something.

Daddy buy you your guitar? your amp? you ever pay for anything in your life?? it came out of your savings you say?? bet daddy put them there for you.

hope that sooner or later you will have expirience a harsh reality check. Nothing but a jerk. thats not my opinion, thats a fact.

It think we can also add sexist to the list. Is he maybe just a bit afraid that if women took to guitars, that perhaps male dominance of rock would be a thing of the past. Given an appropriate neck width, frets, etc., I can't think of any reason in the world why women can't play as equals. If anything, since they tend to have more dexterity, perhaps better.

(Give a listen to someone like Tal Wilkenfeld for the proof of that.)

So hey, if sticking a Hello Kitty on the guitar increases interest and practice time ... then stick a couple on. Considering what I see stuck on a lot of guys' guitars, I certainly have no problem with Hello Kitty.

Congratulations for starting to play. My daughter is 10, and she got a Squier Strat for Christmas...black with the white pickguard. She loves it, even though she's still learning to play.

Her guitar is in the left, mine is on the right. Mine is a Lead II that I got when I was 12, in 1980. Still have it, still play it.

There goes that idea! He likes Scooby Do so maybe I could paint Shaggy on it and call it - The Shaggycaster.

May the Force be with you!

I bought my daughter one of the HK Strats and the Baditz Maru P-Bass also. They are nice little guitars.
