I'd never buy one for myself, but if I woke up one day with no money or guitar and someone gave me a Hello Kitty... I'd play the hell out of it every day!

That's the right attitude, man! :!:

Totally. I have a guy at work who would air guitar the songs that he learned "how to play" and try to explain how difficult it is to press 4 or 5 buttons.

ugh. yeah i hear them in my school -- about how they did "Through The Fire and Flames" on Expert and was bragging about it. i asked them if they could play a chord and they asked me what a chord was.

As if anybody needs to explain this to anybody ever again:

Guitar Hero is a video game. People play it because it's fun, not because they want to be guitar players. It has nothing to do with playing the guitar, people who get good at it don't imagine they are guitars playersany more than people who play WiiSports imagine they are great bowlers or people who play Metroid imagine they're interstellar bounty hunters. It has actually raised interest in guitar playing among young people, and has done no harm to any guitar player, least of all you.

if you see a guitar with HELLO KITTY on it, you'd be right to smash it

My 9 year old daughter would LOVE to have a Hello Kitty guitar!! Anybody that wants to smash, trash, burn, mutilate one can send it to my 9 yr. old.. That is who it is made for anyway. Oh yeah, and Metalheads on acid too!!

Um... It's for kids. Why would you want to smash one when some kid could play it and go on to something else?

i value all opinions, and it plays quite well and it only cost £30 or $57 off a friend who has given up on guitar so it was no loss, and i despise the fact that squire a respectable guitar producer has decided to stoop top the level of hello kitty! it is just a waste of money creating this monstrosity

what's wrong with someone wanting hello kitty on their guitar. just because you don't like something, doesn't make it wrong.

there is nothing wrong with wanting one, i simply gave my opinion of the hello kitty strat

Well, my family is very poor and they want to get me a strat so I can be like my brother, Dave, but he will not buy me one yet because of family fueds. But I would be the happiest girl in the worl, even if it was a hello kitty because it is still a strat and I would have a guitar I have always dreamed of having. It would be a little 15 yr olds dream come true. Ever since I could remember I wanted a strat, but we could never, still can't, afford one.

Y'know...as I am very confused about the ridiculous combination of Hello Kitty and a lovely guitar...I still think that BUYING one with your money just to burn it up is one of the dumbest things ever. Let's grow up, shall we?
