Right now I have a black strat.

This the template for the paint job that I want to do.

My question is what sort of material should I use to cover up the black spots?

also, where could I get a black loaded pickguard with two humbuckers?

There is a liquid mask you can get from an art supply store that is used by people that airbrush. What you are trying to do is very common in the airbrush artist community so you art supply store might be a good lead for getting advice. I'm sure there are numerous web sites. I have a picture of EVH using masking tape on his. That might be an easier route and he seems to get pretty good results.

As far as a loaded pickguard, I would probably just cut a regular one out for humbuckers and choose my pickups. Just guide yourself with the predrilled holes. The bridge is tricky but I just left mine slanted like EVH.

Anything out there prewired is going to be expensive and there are so many sources that would show you how to wire your own it wouldn't be worth paying a premium just because some artist endorsed it. The pickguard by itself would cost upwards of $40 at Guitar Center.

I like your design and hope your paint job comes out the way you want.

Best of luck and enjoy,

3M make a tape and pinstripe for auto body repair.
That's what I use for my custom jobs.
Check my pic posts, that might help.

Local sign shop may have some stencil material scraps they'd give/sell you. Or with your art work, you might be able to get them to cut them for in the shapes you have.

Dude, those pics are gone. Please bring them back or set up a site. The Cyclone looks great. Can't wait to see it finished. Hope you do some radical wiring for the pickups. There is plenty of room.
