Don't say it's never going to happen. They said that about the Jazzmaster, Jaguar and Mustang once upon a time. :P

I don't know, but that would be cool if they did put those out.

We already had a MiJ Strat-XII
We also had a CiC Starcaster (the hollowbody version, not the Strat-Like Object)

A Squier XII would be a surprise, but I'm not going to say it won't happen.
Coronado-III? A lot of semihollowbodies are made in China/Indonesia for a lot of manufacturers.

You've asked the same question on a separate topic: https://forums.fender.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=116597

The answerers asked for more info, namely about what guitar, what kind of strings, what kind of tuners, but you haven't responded to those.

First, let's keep the string installation in its own topic.
Second, is there any chance you'd use a pro to set your guitar up for one time? That would teach things better than this "question with too little background - answer with a lot of guessing" system.

Stratocastar has very awful documentation.

I disagree on that. If you're trying to install strings in a Stratocaster, it's no different from any other electric guitar. And there is the Strat setup guide; https://support.fender.com/hc/en-us/art ... -properly-

Judging from your question(s), setting up a guitar is new to you. And setting up a Stratocaster (with the tremolo) is a bit tricky for a beginner. So I repeat my advice about letting a pro do a setup, at least this one first time. A good pro might let you follow the procedure, or at least show you how to put the strings in.

But if you've made your mind about doing it yourself, here's one video, from Fender, about a Strat, showing how to install the strings. No knots, though - it's just a bend.

But back to the topic, sort of.
They're (re-)introducing the Squier Starcaster, this time in the Classic Vibe series from Indonesia: https://www.gearnews.com/leak-squier-cl ... ler-sites/

Those no-f-holes versions look interesting.

I love them! Both the traditional version (I think I have to get a walnut one) and the contemporary one (surf green perhaps?)

They re-released the VI, so anything's possible, but it's been forever with those. How they treated the Marauder makes me apprehensive. If they ever re-release either, I would want the original controls and vintage-spec pickups. The Electric XII's pickup selector is brilliant.
