Korean or Chinese/Indonesian Squier is most likely Basswood.
If it has a maple neck/fingerboard, it has a finish on it and needs no oil. If it has a Rosewood, PF, or some other dark unsealed wood, then it can benefit from a LIGHT application of oil no more than once a year.
Actual lemon oil is generally not recommended, but many products marketed as "lemon oil" for guitar necks are merely a mineral oil with a lemon scent. Dunlop 65 is very popular.

With a partial serial number only, all typical Squier options for the body wood are possible.

There are lots of Alder Squiers from that era, too.

You asked that in the Strat section, too, and that topic is waiting for you to specify what you mean, and what Strat model you have.
So let's continue there: https://forums.fender.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=116497
