Has anyone found a better quality pickup selector switch for this guitar than what comes on it from the factory?
Is there a drop-in switch without changing out the pickguard?

Pretty sure you can find one with no mods.
Look at Stew Mac. All measurements are there.

The screw distance (41 mm) should be the same in the original "import" type switch and a CRL blade switch, so the switch upgrade doesn't require a new pickguard. But the blade swich is deeper; check that there is enough space in the body routing.
I'd suggest upgrading the pots, too, while the iron is hot. Plus think beforehand about possible mods - like tone to the bridge pickup, treble bleeds etc.

One hint: if you've had any noise issues, use shielded wire on the output jack leads.
And a proverb I often use: drop-in replacements seldom exist.

If your original pickup selector work fine , leave it there.
You will not have better sound with another selector.

If you want to replace it, be sure you know where to put wire and have a good knowledge in soldering
