I have a new Squier Telecaster that has a crackling noise when I am playing it there is no crackling noise when it is not being strummed. I have tried using different cords and amps but still get the noise. Any ideas?

With no more information; sound clip, I'll say return on warranty.
Bad solder or bad contact inside the guitar ?
Is your guitar cable is good ? try another one

Could it be static? does it make the crackling noise when you touch the pick guard? If it does try rubbing the pick guard with tumble drier sheets.

My Squier Strat did this. It was the cable jack that was faulty so I had to return it. The replacement has 3 open strings that buzz so that will be returned to the store too...
