I got a used 2011 Squire J Mascis and it has a black switch tip that I want to replace for a cream one (as it should be), I have tried a couple of generic ones but they don't fit and I can't quite find what is the screw size/thread. I even bought one that fit a 2018 version of the guitar but it didn't work on mine so I guess they changed that over time. Does anyone has that information? or point to a place where I can find it? Or does Fender sells that part? thank you!

Screw size are about pickup selector switch. Switch tip is another part.

I guess many after market tips are in american size. Squier may use metric size or non standard size. IMO you can find one.

Best is to replace the switch with a new and good quality one with the right color tip. Squier switch are so cheap.
