The paint is based on the Ford GT 40/Gulf racing scheme of the 60's.
My pal Gino put on the paint yesterday and sent me this photo.
She will get a 1967 Mercury Cyclone GT Badge to run level with the stripe.
I've dropped some questions about what pups to toss in 'er and got some great advice, thought i'd show the progress.

Hey there, what type pf squier is that? It has a universal pickup route, and I am looking for a cheap strat body to put in a neck humbucker.

It is a Squier Cyclone.
They were discontinued. But there is a Squier Duosonic reissue that might have what you are looking. They run $279
Or you could look on ebay for a Cyclone.
