A plan was hatched after a few days of buying her to make this my ultimate squire ..
Only strings, one pot an the trem block were changed as everything else was perfect.

More will with pics an links as have her back today an will be trying out tomorrow through the amp to see how she sounds..

That's a pretty nice looking guitar. I like the gold hardware with it. 8)

What "white/blonde" finish? It is pink...hence the name 'Mary Kay' (pink is a Mary Kay trademark). It IS pretty sharp though as a dim pink with the gold hardware.

I love seeing interesting Classic Vibe colors that were limited edition or a special order.

From what I can tell the Classic Vibe line is shrinking. There are less colors. I have not seen a white CV 50's Strat with the gold pickguard, or the sunburst CV 50's Strat in a while. As a matter of fact, the CV 50's Fiesta Red seems to have disappeared. On the 60's CV Strat line I think there is purple and sunburst, but nothing else.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on with the CV guitars? They are amazing, and frankly, I don't care if they raise the price a little bit as long as they keep them as an alternative to the MIM Standard Strat and Tele lines.
