Hello Brose5581,

Yessiree you'll do fine with plenty
of practice.

I would strongly suggest to get a
instructor.

Practicing incorrectly is a waste of your time.

You can do it.

Cheers.

Heh, I suffer from the same malady. Your fingers will adapt with time 8)

What really did it for me was practicing scales. The little muscles that control finger positioning get a serious workout.

I too am afflicted with short fingers and have to "deal" with it. I use the Fender "Getting Started On Electric Guitar" video that I got at the store , it has more than the version they give you in a starter pack, and in the Play Electric section they have a rock rythem that is big for Keith Wyatt and he has alaskan crab hands compared to me. You just have to make do and know that for your own creativity you probably wont invent something that is unachievable. And I found that most stuff isn't that bad.

dude every guitarist suffers with that from the beginning. You just need to keep up at the practice and maybe get in instuctor or at least a close friend that can play, help you will no charge.
