It all started when I saw a $95 HSS in Carousell that I wanted to purchase due to having a humbucker on bridge and though it is actually white, it sometimes appears as 'green' depending on the lighting! I absolutely love it and the sound is awesome.. has lots of quack and bite of an expensive Fender! I just had to change the super cheapo pearloid pickguard...

I have been playing for at least 20 years now and I also have my share of some expensive and mid entry guitars but, this is becoming to be a gem! I already tried it with our band it rocks!!

I also bought another Squire (pink shell color) for my daughter's birthday tomorrow and to which I'm also trying to teach her learn the guitar. Well, I admit... I've been eye-ing for this pink shell color guitar for a while now and I can't pass the $120 price tag!! I had it professionaly setup with 10s and it absolutely plays well, no issues with tuning and I can't wait to play this with my band this Sunday... !!

Been eye-ing again in our local craiglist for any cheapo 2nd hand Squires!!!

I love Squiers , especially Strats. IMO, they get a bad rep from tone snobs. I recently picked up a SE model a couple of weeks ago for only 40 bucks, which alone in itself, was a great deal. These guitars are great for modding . So far I've installed a set of pups from a early 1990's MIM Standard Strat and just yesterday, I swapped out the stock tuners for a set which came from a SX Strat. Today, I have my new set of trem springs coming in and she'll be all done.

You have the right to prefer these guitars but you must not exaggerate.
