Hum..looks more like the cimarron red of the Bill Carson Strat which was supposed to be the only Strat with that specific color; weird isn't it ?

It's the lighting. The guitar is the '88 NAMM pre-production Clapton Signature Series I bought well over a year ago. By definition....Torino Red.

Yes, the lighting. You added that mini switch to get neck and bridge pick ups together ?

Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! Alain!!! That's the original design! Fender built twelve of these in '87 for the show. Head stock and neck pocket have original Custom Shop logo. Neck plate has a V#. Neck is 21frets. Clapton nixed the mode switch and added a fret for the final production model.
