As part of an upcoming auction - one of Eric's original two 2009 Daphne CS Strats (other one already auctioned off). Extra one aquired in 2011 according to the text.

Get your bids ready! :D

Glad to read this, Eric retired his Daphne Blue guitars from active service in November 2011 after touring with them for about 2 years. The retirement just happened a couple of days before the series of concerts he did with Steve Winwood across 13 major cities in Japan.

Did you buy it?

£45,000. Not bad for a CS these days

Like B.B. King and the plethora of Lucilles, there are more than a few EC played guitars out there.
He could probably make a decent living by ordering custom shop guitars, playing them for a short time, and then selling them with a good profit.

Paul Stanley and Ted Nugent also seem to go through guitars at a higher rate than average.

I believe my high school buddy still has his original '62 Daphne Strat. Too bad his name isn't Eric.
