I had the thought of possibly ordering a guitar like pictured above. My design would include gold mini humbuckers and a gold Floyd Rose vintage (without finetuners. In the pic it's a Schaller vintage tremolo, which has the same dimensions). Since those components would come from other sources than Fender, would this still be possible?

Another design would be a maple body set-neck "Jazzbird". I have an old Gibson RD Artist. I love that old Moog electronic. I was thinking, since that electronics is almost 40 years old, might it be possible to recreate and update what that old Moog board could do? The hardware would be Schaller which was used on the old Master series (and including those "F" knobs).

The RD was a flop because the Moog board was too complicated for the "basic" guitarist
I know, I had one...

Well, yes, I know it was a flop. And maybe most guitarists didn't like the electronics. But I like it. I think, it is easy to work with. A regular Jaguar/Jazzmaster has even more switches and pots. I still have an RD and I like it, but I think a Fender Jazzmaster with those features would be even cooler for me, with a better playability. And since Fender doesn't plan to put a design like mine on the market it would hardly be a flop. I just wondered if Fender would try to design an electronics that would work like the Moog board worked or if they said "take two passive humbuckers or leave it". Treble and Bass boost/cut as well as a compressor/expansion and bright mode switching has been working on other electronics as well, I think...

Hi there... Have you looked at the how to order and the quote sheet
http://www.fendercustomshop.com/how-to-order/
IMHO anything other than listed would cost a bundle.
I honestly do not see them ever making a moog board.
I have not seen the guitars pictured listed or are they your interpretations but if they are available go for one!
There are masterbuilt jazzmasters on ebay current asking price $6000usd
Sorry if that sounds negative! :D
