Hi I'm new to Fender and just picked up an 05 Custom Shop Classic Stratocaster. The guy I got it from wasn't sure of the color...it's the seafoam, surf, sonic, daphne question I've seen as I've tried to figure it out....I have the numbers just curious if it may tell or what I can learn from them about the guitar....the number is:CN93950

Thanks in advance! Any info would be great!

Welcome to the forum! Let me tell from the start, if members have questions about a guitar, the quickest way to get those anwers is photos. You can upload photos onto photobucket (a photo sharing website)
1. Load photos
2. capture image on photobucket
3. click on, "IMG" on the tool bar.
4. paste link between "IMG(link)IMG."

Good luck.

Hi devilshand,
you can also give Fender Consumer Relations a call or drop an email at consumerrelations@fender.com and they'll be happy to get you the info you're looking for. On a 2005 chances are pretty good they can track it.
(but yeh....post pics !) ;O)
cheers!
