I can't be sure that "Manager" exists as a job title, but one of the guys who is certainly a Chief there now is Mike Lewis!

Yeah...another Mike!

Mike Lewis has been with fender for years and was probably as sad as we where when he heard Mike had to go..

If he's the guy who ran the Gretsch Custom Shop, that's who it is. If I told you how I know, well...you know how the rest of it goes.

Just to confirm, Mike Lewis holds the role you're speaking of here. Mike is the real deal - an absolutely stellar player in his own right (he spent over a decade on tour and in the studio), and someone who's incessantly tinkering with gear. But ... he's also a super-intelligent / professional dude, too. The epitome of cool, basically. He has been with Fender since '91 and has held many critical roles here including stints managing both the amp and guitar product lines throughout the '90s.

Looking forward to this Forum ramping up with some input from him. Been looking kind of threadbare. A shadow of its former self since...................

We'll just have to see... we do tend to keep all employees here tightly shackled and locked in a dungeon, only delivering them occasional rations of bread and water. Haha ... kidding, of course. :D

Apparently nothing thus far has engendered a need for input on his part. :? I would have thought that the question of communication with the luthier on a masterbuilt order, or the issue of getting the specs the customer wanted, might have.

Well, he is a moderator here, so he might just delete us if we don't behave!

If you were talking about pullling the plug on my respirator, I might be concerned.
