Just picked up an unusual CS Strat. 1960 Seafoam green with some weird relicing by the CS. The build sheet says light relic but there is literally no wear at all on the body or neck, not even the CC finish. Hardware is lightly reliced and that's it. The fretboard is very dark rosewood, at first I thought it was ebony until I got the build sheet from Fender. Body has a dull finish but no nicks, wear or checking at all. Rep at Fender told me it was a one-off made for Dave's in Wisconsin in 2007. If I can get my camera working, I'll post some pics, it's a very cool guitar.

Even if you can't get your camera working, borrow one! Seafoam Green is a color that I wish was still offered, Surf Green isn't quite the same. Anxious to see pics. :D

Nice, very nice
I can't believe the fretboard is rosewood.
The surface of the fretboard seems smooth as silk, evenly colored and slightly oily as ebony not as the irregular rosewood with its color variations and tendancy to dryness.
I'm sure that it sounds deeper and less bright.
Must be ebony...IMHO

My thoughts also. As I said, the build sheet says "dark rosewood" under the section that's labeled Neck Notes.

Are you 100% sure it's the original neck ?
I can't imagine that assumption..
