Probably legit. Nothing looks untoward at face value.
Not sure if the butterfly string tree is correct for this period but I have seen other 55s with it.
Looks like someone got a sweet deal going by UK prices! :D

Something's not quite right, the COA says it's a relic, but the body says otherwise. The neck could pass for a relic, but looks more like a closet classic everywhere except for a little fret board wear near the nut. The body is to reliced to be a regular relic, it's definitely a heavy relic.

To be honest is was the cleanliness of the neck in comparison to the body that made me a little unsure, seemed unusual compared to previous relics I have seen, but a little time spent Googling dug this up:

Looks like the guitar was originally purchased new from 'World Guitars' in about 2012 and appears to be in the same condition as then to my eyes, unless i am overlooking something?

Anyway I should be picking up the guitar before the weekend is out, I will upload some detailed images once I have had a chance to inspect, and make some noise

Cheers for the help guys!

The COA has Eldred's signature on it and the serial number can certainly be crossed referenced through Consumer Relations. In that its a European sale, the purchaser's warranty rights may be better served.
