Hello guys, just wondering if these "American Design Experience" are the same :?:

If so, is the price given on the "design your own" section of the website an accurate price :?:

The two American Design Experience programs are pretty much the same, except that in the Visitor Center one, you get to pick actual physical components, which may differ more than the web Experience.

Neither is the same as Custom Shop.

The ladder is (roughly, some might disagree on the lower rungs):

Custom Shop Masterbuilt
Custom Shop Teambuilt
Select
American
Japanese
Korean
Mexican
Chinese
Squier

The American Design Experience falls well into American.

Yah....but a post on Lounge Forum suggests that the pricing might be less than desirable, and there's a 20% restocking fee if you're dissatisfied with the outcome.

Based upon history...watching Fender for nearly 60 years now....MSRP's don't come down. The price advantages come from vendor/mfg incentives/sales. It would be interesting to see if Fender will run Design Experience Specials in conjunction with certain seasons like Christmas.
