A quick question from Germany - the story first: I managed to save up some money last year to finally get my hands on a Fender Custom Shop 1960 Stratocaster Relic (2013). I bought the guitar at Germanys biggest guitar store, therefore I have the certificates and all the gadgets at home. The guitar is registrated. Great guitar - I love it.

It's Christmas and the entire family is checking out my new flat. While having some smalltalk with them my nephew got hold of my guitar and decided to fiddle with the Fender decal. Most of the "F" and "D" is gone now - driving my absolutely mad!

I read about the replacement service. Is there any chance to get such a service in Germany as well?

Hopefully ...

Regards
Christian

It's just a little more of a relic now.

Frag die Jungs vom Custom Shop in Köln. Aber geh' über deinen Händler.

Ask the Cologne guys.

Cheers

David

I tried the German customer service a couple of times by phone - no chance, probably to busy. Rob offered me some help straight away - outstanding customer service. I sorted the problem myself by looking at the decal for 10 minutes and accepting what happened. Even though it's nearly gone ... so what ... it's part of 'her' story ... so be it!

Many thanks for your help guys!
