Lost the arm to my 69 Custom Shop Strat. Regular vintage style tremolo. Is it a special order item from my dealer or will the regular American standard arm fit?

American Standard tremolo arm is a plug-in arm. A 69 strat use screw in tremolo , same for 69 Custom Shop ?

Bring your guitar to the store and try some .

Momentary lapse stratele52....I am sure you know the standard is threaded and the deluxe is pop in.
From what I can see part no 0026103000 will fit unless I have just ruined the thread on my 69!
You may need a white tremelo tip depending on the color of the guard. :D

My 2 Standard had had pop in arm , not threaded .

How can you ruin the thread ? You have to work gently and you feel if it is the right thread or not . No excuse to ruined except the lack of experience
