Beautiful finish, though.

I suppose the 'camo' finish could be considered 'benign'. Workmanship aside, and with no intended offense to the contributor, I, for the life of me, still can't comprehend the preoccupation with glorifying symbols of a regime which, in conjunction with the Japanese and the Russians of the time plunged us into a world war which left 50+ million dead and who knows how many hundreds of thousands wounded and maimed. Not to mention the countrysides and cities laid waste. It may be generational in nature, but there are some things in history which we should learn to never forget. Hitler, Hirohito, and Stalin were egomaniacal murderers who, with the help of the all too willing, and a population of sheep, lead their respective nations and many of the rest of us to ruin.

There's a manufacturer of guitar strings which used a 'stock' full-face photo of a man in tears as part of an advert a couple of years ago. They were under the impression that it was rather innocent until reminded that it was a rather well-known image, culled from film footage of the Nazi Army marching into Paris. The man was a bystander on the street, weeping. The advert was pulled.

The mate to this guitar ought to be the Spitfire Stratocaster which was done by one of us a couple of years ago. Now THERE's a nation and a people, in their time, to celebrate.

Looks like a Charvel San Dimas :)

This guitar is not only capable to produce the most brutal sounds you might expect from a shredbanging machine but also delivers some sweet single-coil nuances.

We have been down that road recently, haven't we.

Pickups are Duncans® as the pickup logo suggests.

The bridge pickup looks like a Trembucker™.

Any thoughts :?:

I wouldn't mind if FCS made a tribute model with a sticker saying "This machine KILLS fascism".

My point is that I fully agree with you...and there is no need to elaborate on how it might sound...

Agreed about closing thread OR at least taking a wide swing to another area.
No good could ever come out of posting that picture.

I can certainly see your point of view, and that of Amerigo's for that matter. My response was not intended to be a personal attack on the OP. The theme fully aside, it is a nicely crafted piece. We can only hope that there's been some consciousness raising here, and that would be the good to come out of it. We might be spared a guitar with a white hood, a burning cross, and the letter KKK emblazoned on it.
