No talk/buzz about his Sig Strat's? Is this an everyday item, like the Rory?

I'm a bassist, but I'll talk & buzz about this!

I recently saw Michael perform at the Baked Potato here in Los Angeles, his hometown.
Trio w/ Travis Carlton.

If more Guitarists had Michael's tone, approach, and sense of rhythm... It would be a good thing!

He is amazing, and I'm happy to see the FCS pay him respects with a signature instrument.

Michael is best known for using Suhrs and Tylers.

John had built a set of single-coil pickups for him, called Suhr ML.

The FL prefix was dropped as Kirk Fletcher no longer uses them.

The MLs incorporate a modified staggered pole piece design to provide a even magnetic field needed to accommodate instruments with flatter neck radiuses and today’s string gauges. They offer a balance of tight lows, focused midrange and smooth top-end sparkle.

These pickups are available in Standard and Classic flavors, with the former having a hotter output and sustain and the latter producing a bright yet punchy single coil sound.

Very interested to know whether or not this will be limited availability or not.

Personally I opt for the more modern signature model based on the "Black Classic" featuring an SD '59 Trembucker with black bobbins in the bridge and two Fat 50's single coils in the neck & middle. '59 neck profile, 22 Dunlop 6150 jumbo frets, black finish, alder body, tort guard, American Deluxe 2-point bridge with pop-in arm, black plastic parts and staggered Schaller Trimlocks would be the icing to the cake.

The black '68 relic should have a humbucker with black bobbins in the bridge position to reflect the changes Michael made to his guitar over the years.
