Robbie Robertson is undoubtedly one of the most talented Canadian rock guitarists who deserve a Custom Artist signature Stratocaster.

The sunburst HS-equipped Strat he plays nowadays is indeed a Custom Shop masterpiece.

I'm not much of a strat guy - but I am a Robbie Robertson guy. I don't think I'd buy one of these from the custom shop, but it'd be a killer artist series guitar. How about in Moon-Burst, Bronze, and Red? Keep it around a grand, and I'd be tempted.

One of his Strats for which the current guitar is based on is fitted with a Washburn Wonderbar.

Actually the bridge unit is not really a humbucker. Two dual-coil ceramic stacks mounted side-by-side and a Vintage Noiseless pickup with AlNiCo V magnets in the neck position. Chrome knurled dome knobs.

Robbie uses a Clapton Strat on certain occasions (pictured here with Elvis Costello).

The moonburst Strat he plays is a TK Masterbuilt.

A couple of prototypes were featured with a Mini Floyd Rose bridge system and white parchment plastic parts.

If they did a CS Signature Series guitar just like this I'd go for it. 8)

They did that moonburst signature guitar but exclusively for Robbie himself.

Therefore it's not available for everyone - yet.

I'm not much of a Strat guy myself, but if I had one, I prefer the black guard ones. And that is a nice one imo.
