Hello fellow strat brothers.

I was hoping that someone could answer a question for me.

I am the proud owner of a CS Andy Summers Tele. I am the 2nd owner.
It came with all it's case candy and original COA.

The only thing that was missing was the DVD that came with it.

There is an interview out on Youtube with Andy talking about the Tele and the story behind it. As well as a cool Youtube clip of Mike giving a very detailed overview of the guitar.

I have several CS guitars as well as 4 strats and I have to say that this Tele is a really fun Chameleon of sound. I can't put her down.

But I was hoping if there is a fellow owner out there that could tell me if the video clip on Youtube is the same that came with the guitar. If so great! If not, no big deal. But any info is greatly appreciated:)

Did it also have a copy of his book?

I had one and really liked pretty much everything about it. Great tones and lots of them and a terrific neck. I took it to a couple of rehearsals and I kept hitting the boost toggle switch, so it was relegated to home use only. I later sold it...

Thanks for post! I appreciate it. Beautiful guitar! Who was the master builder? Galuszka?

I have seen many of these guitars, including mine. But what I can't figure out is the relicing processes used. Some relic around the pre amp switch and some do not. The Krause and Galuszka models appear to have not. The Stern, Smith and Yuri models I have seen do. Mine does not, and it is a Galuszka.

It was my understanding that guitars of this calibur, like Blackie were supposed to be "spot on" matches of the original. On yours on the back horn, the wear mark is down to the wood. On some there is a transition from yellow, to the wood, like the real deal. Andy's original does have wear marks around the pre amp switch.

I apologize if this seems trivial, but this is a collectors piece for me, and I want it as close to the original as possible. It is my 4th CS guitar. I also own 4 other strats as well as 4 teles.

Alain had his touched up to his liking. I was thinking of doing the same.

It also irks me that the original owner I bought it from lost the DVD. I have always kept every single piece of info that came with the guitar. I would love to find a copy of the DVD to have with the guitar. It sounds great!
