for a while.

I have a business opportunity which could mean a very secure financial future for my family. But to participate in this venture, we are not willing to dip into our savings or investments.

To raise the needed capital, most of my gear is being sold, including my Fender Custom Shop guitars. So before a couple go out the door with the FedEx man this afternoon (already sold a couple), I gathered my Custom Shop gang for one last portrait.

Thank you Fender Custom Shop for all that you do. I love your guitars, especially the Telecasters. Mr. Eldred, you and your team are the best. Someday soon I hope to again be surrounded by these majestic instruments...

Must have been a sad decision. We'll miss you a lot. You were the quintessence of a collector

It's always sad seeing the kids go...but hopefully you'll still have a Tele or two to keep you going!

Good luck with your new venture! :)

Csapo,
Best of luck, hopefully, you can pick up where you left off in the near future.

PM me or e-mail (seangephardt at live.com) as well, I still want those '90s thinlines ;)

saw your Charcoal Frost JM Sig on eBay yesterday, I thought it was weird, now I understand...

I hope you are still keeping the one(s) you really love. some guitars can not be replaced, no matter the situation they should never be sold or it will only translate in sadness and regret.

that's a very hard decision you took. wishing you best of luck with your business opportunity and I hope you can start rebuilding a nice collection as soon as possible :)

@csapo: I'd be very interested in hearing about your future steps. If you find time, a PM would be great. And maybe you keep at least one of your great guitars?

Cheers

David

I'm going to hazard a guess that you're partial to Teles.
Good luck with your venture.
