If I were twenty years younger I'd be fighting the "I don't care if it looks like it was dragged behind a truck'' battle. My wife likes her art neat and pretty. Alains likes his playable. Makes more sense. Nonetheless, age and space requirements are dictating the wisdom of new acquisitions. Alain is chasing me and advises that even he is beginning to cull his herd. His sons do not share his interest. Triste.

That's life.
Slimmering the herd is an option.
But with a wise eye...
Still young..

Yeah well, we can't please everyone all the time... This one doesn't look THAT much like it has been dragged by a truck... I think it has the looks of a well played, have seen too many smokey bars kind of guitar... A Player in every sense...

if im able to secure one - i just hope the neck wear looks dark like the original.

one of the two i saw was a bit painfully white.

alain promises me some heartfelt dirt and grime on the fingers will solve it though! :)

Alain knows what he's talking about, plus consider that those photographs taken on the original might be deceiving due lighting or lack thereof... I hope we can toast to our new guitars tomorrow Sr.
Only 18 more hours to go.

Left Seattle at 10:50 PST on the 20th, arrived Fort Lauderdale 6:25 a.m. today and zoned out around 9:30 a.m. for a few more zzzz's. Just rolled out to check on you all directly in that there was nothing prior. Hope things are happening. Will look in here later. Have some chores to do. Good luck all. :!:
