To my knowledge yes, but I believe it's 32 out of 50.

Now comes the enterprising entrepreneur picking up the unsold lot at discount and off to eBay or Craig's list. :?

That's for sure Doc, but that is true most any project from any maker, so nothing one can do about that, except hope that the people that sell them at ebay don't ruin the price by asking ridiculous prices, on the up or lower mark.

That's called being victimized by circumstance of our own making. I'm guessing, from the likes of the Mayer, Holly, and Brownie, that future Tribute guitars will be done in lots of no more than 50. Don't know why the Blackmore came through as economically as it did and, unless there's another artist of like mind as Gilmour, you won't see that happen again. Glad I got mine when I did.

Yes I was also surprised that the Blackmore, was not a limited release, also, when you give ONE master builder ONE guitar to reproduce, you can't ask of him to do 200, hence the limited numbers... Yeah Alain, 50 go to overseas which makes U.S. participants have to go through a much competed market.

well, certainly the US market is not saturated at only 50...but, there are apparently many still available after extensive marketing by GC and the manufacturers.

that says something - dont know what but something :)

Too many guitars around to choose from, which takes focus from Brownie, and also not many people consider Brownie to be that much of a big deal, when it comes to iconic Clapton guitars, I am not one of them but just saying.

I know Doc, you and I are both on the same page, as well as other great forum members, including MR. Alain and UfBoy, yet, not everyone shares our view, or knows the pedigree of the instrument.

There are not so many iconic EC guitars, but this one is definitely one of them, whatever GC marketing policy which may partially jeopardize the collectability of such guitar which would deserve a more appropriate promotion.

I agree with you Alain... GC policy aside. So I guess you got good news Ufboy, so I guess, we'll see about it tomorrow. Best of luck to you man, I hope you get one. This guitar should only be in the hands of people that appreciate what they mean.
