The "Ask Mike Eldred" Section has been closed.
Although I assume he is busier and busier, let's hope Mike find some time reading this "Let's Talk Custom Shop" Section.

Well this is an interesting turn of events, isn't it. :!: Hope all is well with him and that we haven't given him cause to turn away.

I'm pretty sure that "busy" doesn't even cover it!

Thanks, and good luck!

It was getting sort of out of hand over there, and I'm sure Mike has plenty on his plate.

That may be the case. However, his contributions, were timely, informative, and extremely helpful to this membership. They will be missed.

Hopefully, every so often he will find some time to be able to respond, especially in cases where misinformation is passed along just on the " I read it on Wiki " or " A friend of a friend said "

Thank You Mike ... Your Input will be missed .. :(

Yeah, Mike is definately the go-to guy for all things custom. I was hoping he would open the "Ask Mike" area again. I recently purchased the following...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-80s-198 ... 7675.l2557

and yeah it was a pure impulse purchase but I want to complete the guitar. Who else has information (work order info) on these old neck plates? Hopefully someone out there can help.
