Hi. I just bought a 2012 Lake Placid Blue 60's NOS Strat. My two questions are as follows.

1. How can I identify that the custom shop 60's pickups are authentic? I know the magnets are supposed to be beveled and staggered and they are. The only other set of I know that has this type of magnets are the 57/62 set. ARe there any other identifiying features?

2. The strat came stock with a 3 way switch. I was going to upgrade to a 5 way switch. Can you let me know the fender part number of the switch the custom shop would have used if they installed the 5 way? Thanks.

Fendetr CS doesn't sell spare parts but it must be a regular one you can find anywhere on the net
Usually Fender provides a spare 5 way switch.

The case candy was all completely sealed and no 5 way switch. I even called Fender customer relations and they said it didn't come with one.

Here's the switch you need, and many places stock it!

Never seen a Switchcraft 5-way switch. Fender originally used CRL switches. Now they mostly use Oak-Grigsby switches. CRL and O-G are both owned by Electroswitch. I prefer CRL.
