Fender Eric Clapton "Blackie" Stratocaster:

One of the 275 Blackie replicas was presented to Clapton who used it for three songs during a gig at the RAH in May 17th, 2006.

This is also the same guitar Eric played at Guitar Center in 2010.

Chromeface,
Why not let the people see by themselves the photos WE have painstakingly done to put on the Guitarmotel.com site
PLEASE
The least politness would have been to mention the origin of such photos you show here.
We've put on line, up to now, 96 different Fender Custom Shop guitars; which means more than 1000 HD photos. We are proud of what we've patiently and heartly done; so let it to us.
None are for sale.
Just stick to your EC Passion. Which is of interest when appropriate, but not overflooding in so many unrelated threads.

Alain: ask your son about server-side watermarks.

Won't harm the picture, and your copyright will always be in the picture. Professionals have a robot crawl the internet and look for their copyrighted pictures.

Cheers

David

Always happy to help, Alain.

Cheers

PS: Just thought I'd have to call you about the funny last name "Cleac'h". But I found it, it comes from pluriel ancien de kloc'h. Il désigne un sonneur de cloches. I guess he's going to win the Vendée Globe.

Alain

Look, this is what I mean:

Image

This guy protects all of his pictures and he can even find them through internet crawling robots. Imagine you ask for 100 USD whenever somebody uses one of your pictures. Your son could make a fortune just by looking after your picture copyrights. It's all done directly on the server, no manual picture editing needed.

Cheers

David

Must be a copy by Ed Roman; not an original one.
Let's see the back
Let me ask John Matos about it...
The white knobs have been added to the original photo

@alainlafrance

The black pattern holding the volume/tone controls and 5-way selector looks pretty close to the chrome-plated control plate found on the George Fullerton prototype.

The only difference is the placement of the controls and pickup switch. Also, the Fullerton prototype has knurled chrome dome knobs.

Not all Crashocasters were shipped with graffiti-painted guards. Some featured a plain 8-hole white pickguard.
