My son has to load another 60 guitars missed in the early loadings
The old goodies are coming.
I spent the afternoon with André Dussauchoir; quite interesting...[/quote]

Yes, correct, some kind of typo
Twice a year guitar aficionados meet near Paris to have technical discussions on all matters related to guitar music, be it amplifiers, dbs, cables, pick ups, woods etc..
Yesterday André was there and made a brilliant speech on the theme of custom colors of guitars in relation with custom colors of cars in the '50s and '60s.
This at the time of the release of a luxury magazine (in French...) on vintage including an extended article on that theme backed with a lot of photos, figures and charts as usual with André.
So after I could chat at length with him on collecting of course.
I was to intervene later in the afternoon on the specificities of a Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt guitar but I had to cancel my speech because of force majeure : André just bought my guitar and was already gone with it...

The latter two products I am not familiar with but I do recall the early Fender catalogs..late 50's...cited '*DuPont custom colors.' Something like that.

"What a drag it is being o-old"     Imagine living long enough to sing that lyric for real.

As long as one can sing, there is some future....
When one starts to sing with pizzicatos, then... :(

Loading, loading, very soon words of explanations for each guitar, and then the Forum.
Again none are for sale; just a mix of several european collections.
Already 80 Fender Custom Shop guitars...plus some others.

You make an external backup, yes? Say hi to your son from me, I know how much work it is.

Cheers

David

Many thanks mon ami. I like the positioning of the BLK1 alongside the SRV. A picture is worth a thousand words [most of which I've already used up on this.]
