Has anyone else noticed that Dennis Galuszka guitars have the best burst finish in the shop. I can always tell his before seeing the name because they are so bright and smooth. I ordered a strat from him in single color i might have to change it. Anyway just wondering if there wad a general consensus on that

Does anyone notice the style differences and what do you prefer. I like a bright smooth transition. Point take. Better is the wrong choice of words.

I really liked how the Fender Custom Shop did all of the 50th Anniversary Strats. The 2-color-sunbursts showed the wood grain well and the transition from amber to black (dark Salmon I believe) was beautiful. I've nevef had the pleasure of playing one of these guitars, but an up close photo I saw of one showed some really nice aging.

Question for Mike: Was this done on purpose or is the aging all in my head?

The model we chose to copy (bear in mind that you can have 5 original 54's and they would all look different) was Richard Smith's, and it was finished like that.
