First, thanks to the Custom shop for a beautiful job on my new amber '62 Jag reissue. Perfectly done! One question, the whammy bar that pops in and out, popped in, but won't pop out. Is there a way to get it out without putting a tremendous amount of force on the tremolo system?

Great! I just bought a 1994 Fender Custom 1962 Reissue Jaguar MIJ.
It ships today and I will get her next week. Hope I do not have that problem.
Can you close your case? What kind of a bridge/whammy/tremolo system
did you get? How about your humbucker or single coil setup.

I had been seeking newer Jaguar HH guitars, but could not pass up the below Jaguar.

Take care. I will be watching to see how your whammy
makes the great escape. Toppscore :)

Make sure you read up on how to align the tremolo lock system and that the lock button is in the locked position so that the system cannot move "up" when you pull on the whammy bar. Then, if stuck, position the bar up toward the pickups and yank hard putting most of the force nearest the hole that the bar locks into. I had to brace the body on the ground as I pulled very hard. Once it comes out, it gets much easier. Nice guitar! I kept the original specs except amber body finish, rosewood fretboard, got jumbo frets & locking tuning keys.

Thanks, Blues!
Are you stating that you changed the amber finish?
Changed the rosewood fretboard?
Added jumbo frets?
Added locking tuners?

or, did I misunderstand that? Toppscore
:)

No, I had the '62 reissue go through the Custom Shop and had them change the color, frets, etc...I wouldn't change a thing about what they did now!

Take my newly purchased 1994 Fender 1962 Reissue Jaguar.
How much would it cost (approx) to change the color? Toppscore :)

Don't know, you need to find a pro to sand it down and paint it CORRECTLY! I went through the Custom Shop which automatically tacks on a couple thousand, but they did exactly what I wanted and I know it was done right. If you already own it, you need to research authorized Fender dealers and find someone that knows exactly how the re-painting process goes. If that's your Jag in the pics, I wouldn't change it, it's bad $@!! The tortoise shell pickguard looks great on the white!

So, you bought a new "pre-ordered" to be built guitar?

Thanks for the compliment on my Jaguar.
Just considering, as it is a 1990s and I've dreamed
of a deep forest green for my "Surf" guitar.

Ya, it has to be pre-ordered. Honestly, and this is just my opinion, I think green is "cliche'" for a surf guitar like a Jag.

BBS ~ I just do not have any dark colored guitars except for black.
And, the dark midnight deep forest transitional green has yet to be mixed on Earth.
It'll hypnotize those who gaze into her deep absorbing reflective powers.
Please, when in public, do not call her make-up, "cliche". You just might
end-up with a worse "internal" accident than shown in "Aliens"
Be nice. Think positive. Be cool

My 1994 Fender 1962 Reissue Jaguar just arrived
Gotta open it up and see if the Antique White
is deserving to be sustained as the original color 8)

Toppscore :)

Alright. Let's see if I can get some photos today.
My restored 1960 Super Amp chassis also has come in.
