This Bass is the best Bass that I've ever played - truly a lifetime Bass - it's sounds great in any situation anytime - live and on recordings

It was built in 2009 and was built to my specs :

a light Ash body

Rosewood fretboard with Blocks & Binding

Aged Vintage White in Closet Classic finish

I call the pickguard the "black-pudding-guard" :D

I really hoped that Dennis Galuszka would build the Bass (I did not do a special request for that) and he did :) - he did a GREAT job

Swamp Ash body is a great choice on this classic J Bass. Which kind of fret wire did you chose, jumbo?

Looks like a '66 or '67 Jazz without the "oval" tuners. :P

yes it does - I even call it my 66' Bass  (and if I'm informed correctly not all 66' basses had the "Lollipop" tuners - some had the normal 60' tuners)

yes - they are laying in my bookshelf :)

Dennis Galuszka even did not install them on my Bass (neither did he drill the wholes) - he may know why :)

On a Jazz Bass I can't use them - but on a PBass I do (at least the Bridge cover)

Gorgeous! 8) I guess the pickups are CS '60s single-coils famous for their vintage growl and bite (same pickups as the 2012 American Standards, IMO!).
