Anybody have any back ground on this guitar? I've been searching the Internet for years, and rumor has it that it was a limited run for a shop in Texas. Hark "V" neck with a 7.25 radius, '50s style reissue, and I haven't popped the neck to check the builder, as it's set up really nicely right now!

Flush pole pieces on the bridge pickup, staggered on the others...this was a thing developed by Mike Stevens and appeared on several late 80s CS guitars. I bet this Strat sounds fantastic.

What's the benefit of the flat polepieces on the bridge pickup?
