I bought a frankenstein Strat a while back from a friend. The neck has a Fender Custom Shop stamp on the headstock and I'm just wondering if it is a real issue.

Could you post a clear close-up of the fret wire ends? Looks good so far.

Nope, not a V.

Wasn't planning to sell it but how much do you think it'll fetch?

Mr. alainlafrance is right. Need a look at the back of the neck down where it's bolted on. You'll have to take the neck loose from the body. I'm pretty sure it's authentic though I could be wrong.

Ok, bit the bullet and unscrewed the neck (first time doing this). It says Custom Classic Strat, just as rickc007 guessed. This is legit yeah?

It also has a Buzz Feiten nut. I don't know much about the Custom Classic series but I am guessing this is not stock?
