Folks

I need your advice. I'll be in London this weekend and I'd like to check out some guitar shops. There are three listed on the FCS-website:

http://www.fendercustomshop.com/index.p ... se/europe/

One is HARRODS @ SW1

I'll be in hotel nearby ... is it worth giving it a try? Or what is your recommendation? I'll be in the SW6 area (Fulham/Hammersmith).

Thanks a bunch

David

The link mentions Rockers in Denmark Street (aka Tin Pan Alley_ which you might want to visit for historical purposes anyway if nothing else and there are still a few shops there worth a browse despite its fading glory. Otherwise you will probably have to get on a train and journey out to Andertons (Guilford), GuitarGuitar (Epson) and/or Guitar Village (Farnham) for more choice. Harrods won't be the cheapest place to shop for guitars.

Try Peach Guitars in Braintree, Essex (another train ride, sorry) - they're good. Bought my 2011 Custom Deluxe Strat from them, and it's, well, just peachy.

Do you see what I did there? I'll get my coat...

Thanks guys. I guess I won't have time to take a train, it's just for the weekend and we'll visit friends downtown London.

Cheers

You have to visit Denmark Street, serous bit of rock history. There's a strat the for £32,000. I had a strum on it, not quite up to my TK master built but interesting. :?

Thanks, guys. I quickly went to see Harrods, but it was not very impressing. Now I'm talking to a shop outside of London.

Cheers
