I just received my Fender Custom Shop Custom Classic Jazz Bass V Special. The spec sheet states it came with; Strings: Super 8255-5M-135, .045, .065, .085, .110tw, .135TW (Taperwound E).
I have always used ghs Boomers - .045, .065, .085, .105, .130, which are the same except the E & B strings that came on the bass are a slightly larger gauge and they are also tapered.
I have read on this forum when changing the gauge of strings you may have to make some adjustments such as filing the bone nut. So I was wondering if any of you think the slight difference in string gauge I mentioned above would require any adjustments?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Just thought to add that I really don't have a problem continuing to use the same strings that came with the bass. They play and sound pretty good to me. Just old habits die hard. :)

At most you have to do is a set up. It's not like it is a radical change in those low two strings.

Thanks.
That was what I was hoping to hear.
