Found a 2011 Telecaster 53 heavy relic used 2400.00 shipped and PP

Found a 2010 FENDER 1952 HEAVY RELIC TELECASTER . I believe a ROADSHOW for 3K.

Both used Guitars. According to Mike. Even though one is a Limited Release and the other is a Time machine. They are of the same quality.

The 52 has great reviews for tone: The 53 not so much. Anyone with Input is welcome to post. Thanks

My only suggestion would to be sure it comes with the original COA.

Did you check out this video for the 53? Sounds pretty good.

Good luck in your decision.

Yeah I looked at the COA already and the Video. I'm not really all that concern about saving 600.00 either. Sure if it's the same guitar material wise and playability wise . Yeah to save 600.00 would be great. The only reason I'm am wondering between the 2 at all. Comes from seeing pictures for one. The 2010 looks richer for some reason. Plus the fact that I've read a few reviews that say the 2010 52 blows this 53 in the water. If indeed it does. I'd rather spend the 3000.00 and be done with it. Not worried about dishonesty. I've dealt with the same guy before.

I like the 53s, they look cool

Did you check the 52s, the only Roadshow one I saw was a Masterbuilt
Was fantastic, more Closet Classic than Relic

I wouldn't go by reviews so much, tone is going to vary from guitar to guitar

If you decide against the 53, feel free to send me a link :-)

If you like both guitars equally... Get the one that costs less! Then you can save up and get another one when you have the funds again. No reason to pay more for a guitar if you believe it's on the same level as another guitar. Just my two cents!
