Bought online today, but can not be picked up and brought home overseas before late January :(

I have not been able to find much info on the 2009. 1965 Time Machine Relic, as it does not seem to be listed in the 2009 Fender CS archives online.
Anyone know how to get more info on this particular guitar (R48027)?

That is a fine looking guitar!
I have one of the earlier '65 Time Machines and it is a great sounding and playing guitar.
I'm sure you'll love this one! :)

Not sure if this helps but there is a 65 mentioned under the 2010 retired models on the custom shop site. It may be similar. I had a Nos from around 2007. :D

Thanks - I'll contact Fender.
I have a CS 60 allready, as well as a John Mayer sign. Looking forward to a CS with a bit fatter neck, with the '65!
Now I wonder how long it takes before I "need" a maple neck strat...

The '65 was, by the way, bought on ebay from Guitargalleriaauctions, a dealer recommended by a friend. My first "blind date" online purchase of a CS Strat. Will have it brought home to Europe in january - hopefully it is as good as it looks...
Half price compared to Norwegian prices, so I figured it's worth the risk.

E-mailed them twice, but no reply.
Only 23 days until the guitar is here. guess it's really no hurry :?

Got reply from customerservice today. She's born may '09.
Color is stated Surf Green - not Sea Foam Green, as stated by seller. I bought it on visual - not data, so no worries :)

The picture above isn't likely to be Surf Green. My guitar is Surf Green:

I think your seller is right.

Cheers

That's SeaFoam Green, also known as Foam Green

Take more pics when you have the guitar, but I think it's really SeaFoam Green. Very beautiful, btw.

Cheers
